What income verification is needed for my customer to get fully approved for Divvy?

Divvy needs to verify the customer's income in order to give them a budget so they can begin shopping for a home. We ask that they provide documentation showing their income for at least the last 3 months.

Salary/Hourly Pay:

  1. Most recent pay stub (must be within 30 days)

  2. Final pay stub from last year, or current W2

Independent Contractor:

  1. Last year’s 1099-NEC

  2. Most recent pay stub or pay invoice (must be within 30 days). We will also accept 3 months of most recent pay invoices or bank statements

Self-employed:

If your business was established more than 12 months ago:

  1. Current year Personal Tax Return* which includes:1040Schedule C or Schedule E and K1 (if applicable)

  2. 3 most recent months of bank statements

If your business was established less than 12 months ago:

  1. Profit and Loss Statement

  2. 3 most recent months of bank statements

*If you have not filed for the current year’s taxes, then we will accept the previous year’s tax return.


Child Support:

  1. Court order documents or child support ledger from the state with 6 recent months of proof of payment

  2. 3 most recent months proof of payment

Alimony:

  1. Court order documents

  2. 3 most recent months proof of payment

SSI or VA Benefits:

  1. Most recent Benefits Letter (must be within 1 year), Year end SSA-1099, or Year end 1099-R

New Job within the last 6 months:

  1. Last pay stub from previous job

  2. Most recent pay stub from current job

On each document, their name, employer name, pay dates, and amounts are clear and legible.
