Why was my client declined?

Unfortunately, for privacy reasons, we can't tell agents why their clients were declined.

When clients get declined, there will be an automated email with an explanation sent to them. The explanation will also be listed on our website if the client logs in to their account and clicks "View Decline Reasons."

We definitely want clients to know their situation and to know what they need to do to qualify in the future! Declined clients are welcome to reapply every 30 days.

Here are some of the most common decline reasons for Divvy applicants:

  • Bankruptcy must have been discharged at least a year ago, if not more.

  • Foreclosure within the past four years

  • Invalid FICO Score (9002, 9003)
