Does Divvy make offers on new construction?

Divvy does work with new construction homes that are within 90 days of completion, but we require confirmation directly from the builder to ensure that they meet our requirements by having them fill out our builder questionnaire prior to an offer.

It is also important to note that your client will be required to make the entire EM deposit up front prior to formally extending an offer. The EMD is equal to the full amount requested from the builder in order for Divvy to extend an offer; this deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances.

Please check in with your Divvy representative for any additional questions regarding new construction homes. When you are ready to initiate an offer, please be prepared to share the following via text or email to your Divvy Homes Advisor Team:

  1. Your client's full name and email address

  2. Confirm that the builder's questionnaire has been completed by the builder

Once these two pieces are completed and approved, Divvy will take the following steps to complete the offer on a new build:

  1. Divvy will send the customer OP/EM request (EM will be equal to the builder's EMD and is non-refundable)

  2. Builder rep will send their contract to

  3. Divvy will sign the builder's contract & pay the EMD

If you are interested in making an offer on a a different type of home, you'll find our standard offer instructions here.
