Does Divvy make offers on new construction?
Yes, in some cases Divvy does work with new construction homes that are within 90 days of completion, but we require confirmation directly from the builder to ensure that the builder and property meet our requirements by having them fill out our builder questionnaire prior to an offer. (Detailed new construction requirements can be found here.)
It is important to note that a customer will be required to pay the entire Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) required by the builder up front prior to formally extending an offer. The EMD is non-refundable in all circumstances, because the EMD required by the builder is not refundable.
