There is no way for a resident to turn off or pause AutoPay in the product. You must have a Divvy team member do this on your behalf. You can do so by emailing Operations@divvyhomes.com.
If your are concerned that you might not have funds available on your scheduled date, you have some other options besides contacting Divvy to pause your AutoPay:
You can reschedule your AutoPay date for the current month only. If you reschedule for a date before the 8th, there are no additional fees or consequences. If rescheduled for between the 8th and 15th, you must use a debit or credit card – which means you will be responsible for paying BOTH the 1.85% processing fee and the 5% late fee.
You could use SplitPay to pay a portion of your rent from one method and a portion on a second method. Doing so will ensure AutoPay for that month does NOT process. You would owe the 1.85% processing fee but NOT the late fee as long as you use SplitPay before the 8th of the month.
You can also do a PayNow (one-time) payment with a new payment method that isn’t your default method used for AutoPay. Doing so will ensure AutoPay for that month does NOT process.
