How does rent work while I'm in the middle of the buyback process?
Your rent payments will continue normally while you're in the process of buying back your home. If your home closes prior to the end of the month, you will be eligible for a refund of the prorated rent within 30 days post-closing. If you are closing on a home at the beginning of the month, you will also still need to pay the full month's rent and the prorated rent will be refunded within 30 days post-closing. If you set up automatic withdrawals with Divvy and your home is closed before the end of the month, authpay will be disabled for the next month's rent.
